A packed half day with the birds designed
to give you a greater insight into the ancient & noble
sport of Falconry. Your session will be spent seeing, handling
& flying many types of bird of prey, which include several
species of Falcon, Hawks Owls and eagle. This is without question
our most popular activity for young and old alike.

10am to 1 pm, sometimes 2pm to 5pm.

Truly the ultimate outdoor adventure! This full action packed
falconry day takes place out in the Leicestershire countryside
with a morning handling various birds of prey and an afternoon
pursuing wild game (subject to seasons) with our friendly
team of fully trained harris hawks.
Your experience day begins
with an introduction to Falconry and bird of prey handling
then you will continue handling, flying and feeding various
species of hawk, falcon and owls. This will be your chance
to get up close to these fantastic birds of prey.
The afternoon is spent out on the farm.
In winter, with the Harris Hawk hunting team plus dog and
ferrets and in summer we usually fly an eagle or European
Eagle Owl and then we are out into the countryside for a walk
with a team of harris hawks who show their natural capabilities
while popping down to you for the occasional titbit.
An experienced falconer will be with you
to make sure you are completely involved in the hunt and to
provide you with information on the falconry experience as
well as the other wildlife which will be seen.
