The Falconry Adventure (see below for details) is a whole day falconry experience with lunch included. When I started doing falconry experiences I intended to send visitors to a local pub for lunch. However, when I sampled the pubs within easy reach it was not what I wanted. The only other option was to provide lunch which is what I started doing and it was such a success that it has continued.

After all, lunch in the woods is in keeping with the outdoor falconry experience I provide and after a morning in the fresh air we are all ready for refreshments.

What do you get?
I always try to provide lunch with an element of local produce for you to try and where possible lunch is courtesy of our hunting harris hawks. They do the catching and I do the cooking and everyone has been prepared to try the food on offer and enjoyed it. If you are giving the falconry experience as a gift you may wish to leave the details as a surprise on the day. People's expectations are usually exceeded, given the location, and it is a great part of the day sitting with the hawks and having a good chat, usually about falconry.

Special dietary needs can usually be catered for, just let us know and we will see what we can do.

If you are booking a half day falconry experience for three or more visitors for a special occasion we can usually provide lunch by arrangement. Please call to discuss your requirements.

Truly the ultimate outdoor adventure! This full action packed falconry experience day takes place out in the Leicestershire countryside with a morning handling various birds of prey and an afternoon pursuing wild game with our friendly team of fully trained harris hawks.

Your morning falconry experience begins with an introduction to Falconry and bird of prey handling then you will continue with the experience of handling, flying and feeding various species of hawk, falcon and owl. This will be your chance to get up close to these fantastic birds of prey.

After lunch your falconry experience continues as we head out to the Leicestershire fields taking dogs & ferrets (conditions permitting) to work with the birds. This is where you experience faconry in the true sense of birds of prey hunting quarry.

An experienced falconer will be with you to make sure you are completely involved in the hunt and to provide you with information on the falconry experience as well as the other wildlife which will be seen. The day lasts approx 7 hours from 10am to 5pm
