During this 3 hour adventure you’ll meet a selection of different species, including small owls, big owls, a falcon, a hawk, and a red kite.  You will get to meet these birds up close; the first time they fly to your glove is a truly unforgettable experience. The Falconry Adventure is a superb full day spent flying as many birds as we can, including some of the larger ones once your glove arm has warmed up. The morning follows a similar program to our half day experience, after lunch it’s time for a walk with a Harris Hawk, followed by some more of our amazing birds. We have around 25 birds in total, including several species of falcon, a dozen or so owls including British Tawny & Barn owls, 2 cheeky Burrowing Owls who eat out of your hand, large eagle owls and actual eagles (Eagle owls are just owls. Come and ask us why they are called eagle owls). This experience gives you a facinating window into the noble art of falconry. A hearty ploughman’s lunch is also provided.

Fly, feed, and handle our amazing owls. Everybody loves an owl, and we have owls from tiny to large, so come and enjoy a great experience up close to our great collection of owls.

This is a special 30-40min session geared for youngsters where they will get to meet and handle some of our smaller owls, like a Barn Owl, Tawny Owl, or Vermiculated Eagle Owl. If they are willing and able, they can also have a photo holding one of our larger eagle owls.

Held at our Milton Keynes site located at Alder’s Farm Fishery. We fly the birds in a private plot of conifer woodland and the open meadowthat borders it. The birds fly back and forth to your gloves and in and out of trees for rewards. You’ll have lots of great photo opportunities, and you’ll learn all about these amazing animals.
