This full action packed. hands on day takes place out in the countryside with the morning being spent getting to know the birds. Your opportunity to be up close feeding handling and flying some of our favourite stars.
After a hearty lunch the afternoon is spent out on the farm. We usually fly an eagle or European Eagle Owl and then we are out into the countryside for a walk with a team of harris hawks who show there natural capabilities while popping down to you for regular titbits.
Your morning session will begin with an introduction to Falconry and then you will go straight to mastering the techniques of flying and handling South American Harris Hawks, Falcons and Owls. After a hearty lunch we head out to the fieldswith a team of Harris hawks and they will display their aerial skill following us, coming to your fist for treats and chasing any quarry they see. We often have time for a walk with one of the owls to show it flying through the woodland.
Companions / Spectators
You can bring family and friends with you to enjoy the day. They are fully involved in the day, being at your side throughout and able to ask questions, take photographs and be part of the action. Obviously they do not get to handle the birds but they do have a great time. A full day spectator including lunch is normally £55 but there is a reduced price if purchased now with the participant See the purchasing options for prices. Children under 16 are free.

Duration 7 Hours approximately, group size normally up to six. Usually 10am to 5pm (9:30-4:30 December and January).
