A Magical Owl Adventure for Kids
This unique experience is designed just for children aged 4 to 14, giving them the chance to fly an owl and create unforgettable memories! Breaking News: If an adult wants to take part too we think that's ok. They can buy their own ticket.
During your Have a Hoot experience, young participants will interact with our gentlest and most patient birds of prey. To start, children will fly a smaller owl, like a barn owl, as it gracefully soars to and from their gloved hands. For those curious about larger species, they’ll also have the chance to see incredible birds like the largest owl species in the world, the mighty European eagle owl.
There’s nothing quite like the wonder on a child’s face as they connect with an animal, especially one as fascinating as an owl. Sessions are typically shared with a small group and last about 30 minutes. To ensure every child has plenty of time to handle and fly the birds, we’re often flexible with the session length.
Once the flying fun is over, the adventure continues as you can view the rest of our trained birds. Here, kids can meet one of the collection’s “big stars,” such as the majestic eagle owl. When the bird is feeling cooperative, children might even get to hold it on their glove—a thrilling and memorable experience!
Parents and guardians, we’ve got you covered too! Each session includes a complimentary spectator spot for one supervising adult. While you won’t handle the birds yourself, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to capture every magical moment on camera, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Companions / Spectators
If more of the family want to come and watch, other than the free supervisor, they will have a great time too. Spectator tickets are priced and selected from the drop down options.
