A Bird on the Hand 5 Brilliant Morning

Thank you Andrew for last Friday morning. It was an excellent morning
made special not only by the birds themselves but yourself and my two
companions. The four humans seemed to get on very well together
which added to the enjoyment. The weather was special (well
organised).

Hi Andrew!

I just wanted to thank you for a lovely day yesterday. Apologies I
didn’t get to say thank you in person, but I needed to escort mum
(Josephine) back to the car. Dad (Billy) really enjoyed the handling
and we all found the session really informative.

Your birds are truly beautiful and Boris is adorable too! Thanks
again for your time and creating a wonderful session for my family
to spend some valuable time together in a relaxing and fun way.

Andrew, just a quick note to thank you for Saturday morning. We
both really enjoyed it and learned a lot about falconry at the same
time. We like the hands on approach and being out in the
countryside, something that you don't get at the Falconry centers.
Marie particularly loved Winne, but i think she is fairly biased to Owls!


I have attached a couple of photos that i took of you - i think they
really capture the timelessness of your art. I have quite a few others
should you want them for your website etc. Feel free to drop me a
line if you would like me to forward them.


All the best with the business, we will definitely come and visit again

Dear Andrew

We would like to thank you so much for a lovely day on Sunday.

Pete has always had an interest in birds and especially birds of prey
and this was the ideal present for his birthday this year. He enjoyed
every minute of the experience.

Dear Andrew

I just wanted to write and say what a wonderful experience today
has been. My Bird on the Hand day was a birthday gift from my
family - two-and-a-small-part of whom you also met today.

From the first meeting with Winnie, walking through the woodland, to
getting to grips with the falconer's knot (more or less), to actually
handling your beautiful birds and watching them - particularly Dolly -
in as near their natural state as possible was, quite simply, magical.

In today's bleeping phones/constant noise and general pressure
under which so many of us run our daily lives, stress counselling has
become the accepted way to deal with life. We could do a lot worse
than spend a little time in the company of these lovely birds of prey.

Your knowledge and crystal clear affection for the birds you care for,
patience with novice falconers, and sense of humour (no doubt much
needed!) made for a fascinating few hours. Many thanks.
