The Home of Bird on the Hand
Our primary base, Barn Owl Hollow, is set in peaceful countryside near Market Harborough. This is where the Bird on the Hand story began and remains the heart of our falconry operation.
Here you can take part in our most popular experiences — Bird on the Hand, Falconry Adventure, Owl on the Hand, and Private Falconry Sessions — as well as our family-friendly options like Have a Hoot and Raptor Rapture.
Visitors enjoy stunning rural scenery, expert tuition, and an authentic taste of falconry. There’s free parking on site and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Our Sister Site for London and the South East
For guests based nearer London, we also run experiences at Alder’s Farm Fishery, Great Brickhill, Buckinghamshire.
This site offers many of the same high-quality encounters, including Meet the Birds and Meet the Owls, in a tranquil woodland and meadow setting.

Why Two Locations?
Both centres are operated by the same small, experienced falconry team.
Having two venues allows us to make our experiences more accessible — one convenient for the Midlands, the other ideal for London and the Home Counties — while maintaining the same high standards of welfare and presentation.
Planning Your Visit
All visits must be pre-booked online or by phone.
If you have a gift voucher, it can be used at either location, although administration is required to transfer between sites.
