If your child is a little nervous on the day, don’t worry—we go entirely at their pace. We’re experts at making sure every young falconer feels confident and happy.

You’ll be welcomed by your falconer, introduced to the venue, and given a short safety briefing. We’ll take names, check who is flying, and share a few simple tips to help you get the best photos.

Next you’ll meet the birds on site and learn how we work with them. Once you’re comfortable, you’ll be fitted with a glove and we’ll begin flying. Sessions are hands-on and relaxed, with expert guidance throughout. We take turns flying birds to the glove, answer questions as we go, and make sure everyone has time with the birds and plenty of opportunities for great photos.

For longer sessions, we build in a break for tea and coffee. Full-day experiences include lunch. Whatever the duration, we keep the pace friendly and supportive, and we tailor the session so you leave feeling confident, included, and with memories (and photos) you will want to keep.

Weather and rebooking
This experience is weather dependent. If conditions are wet or extreme, we’ll offer a rebooking option to make sure you get your experience.

What to wear
Dress for the weather, especially warm layers on colder days. Sturdy shoes are usually sufficient. Avoid bright dayglo colours. In summer bring sunscreen and water. If you get hay fever, bring antihistamines.

We are family-friendly! Children 6+ can participate. Bonus: One supervising adult in the group may spectate for free to take photos. Additional spectators are just £8. Children under 16 can spectate free with a paying adult spectator.
